Mubarak had previously been married to Sonia Khatoon in 2021, but their marriage eventually led to a divorce in court in 2023.
After the divorce, Mubarak remarried on a Sunday, but on his return home, a troubling incident occurred. The situation escalated when the ex-wife, Sonia, and her family accused the ex-husband's family of attacking her upon her return home after the new marriage. The altercation turned violent, with bamboo sticks employed in the assault, leaving numerous individuals injured.
According to Mubarak's family, Sonia's family members had been demanding money even after the divorce, and it was their refusal to comply with these financial demands that triggered the attack.
