After nearly a decade of persistent public demand and administrative delays, the Ghushudi Naskarpada road in Howrah has finally been reconstructed. The long-awaited project was completed recently, bringing much-needed relief to local residents who had faced severe commuting issues due to the dilapidated condition of the road.
MLA Gautam Choudhary visited the area to inspect the newly completed stretch. In a heartwarming moment, local children greeted him with roses and chocolates as a gesture of gratitude and celebration. Residents expressed joy and satisfaction, calling it a long-overdue improvement for the neighborhood.
The road had been in a state of disrepair for years, with repeated appeals made to authorities. The reconstruction now promises smoother transportation, better connectivity, and fewer safety hazards, especially during the monsoon.
Local civic bodies coordinated with the state government to complete the work. With this project completed, attention has now turned to other infrastructure demands in nearby areas.
