Abhishek Banerjee, the National General Secretary of Trinamool Congress, continued his Jan Sanyog Yatra in North Dinajpur on the seventh day.
During his address, he targeted the Panchayat system and the Central government, alleging that the Prime Minister had withheld 100 days of West Bengal's money. He also accused the Union Rural Development Minister of not responding to their complaint letters and ignoring the plight of laborers and artisans in the state.
Abhishek Banerjee said that the battle of 2024 would not be Trinamool vs BJP but Bengal vs BJP, and the public would have to answer to the government's actions.
He also criticized the BJP MPs for being unaware of the ground reality of West Bengal and not caring for the people of the state. Abhishek Banerjee highlighted the successful projects of the Trinamool government and vowed to fight for the rightful money of the state.
He also reminded the people of West Bengal's history of movements and said that the state had the power to bring down any government in the country.
