NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
The winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav, has announced his intention to file a defamation case against BJP MP and animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi. This comes after an FIR was filed against him in a snake venom supply case in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
In a vlog post, Elvish accused Maneka Gandhi of tarnishing his image and insisted that the truth would come to light.
“I was accused by Maneka Gandhi ji and she called me the head of the snake supplier. I will file a defamation case against her. I will not spare her. Now, I am active in all these things. Earlier, I used to think that I didn’t want to waste my time but now my image is being affected,” he said in Hindi.
Elvish, in a video on YouTube, refuted the allegations, stating that he would never engage in any illegal activities that could tarnish his and his family's reputation. He called for a fair and thorough investigation by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the state police, emphasizing his innocence in the case.
Additionally, he criticized a section of the media saying, they can damage anyone's name and image for the sake of TRPs. Elvish's statements come after an FIR was lodged against him, reportedly at the behest of Maneka Gandhi's NGO, People for Animals, alleging his involvement in snake-related illegal activities.
