Vandalism in Howrah over controversial painting during Durga Puja; 30 arrested
An Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Kiran trainer aircraft crashed into an open farm field near Bhogapura village of Chamarajanagara district in Karnataka on Thursday. Two pilots including a woman ejected from the plane and landed safely using parachutes.
The aircraft caught fire after crashing on the farm field. No casualties reported in the incident. The aircraft crashed during a routine training sortie.
The IAF said that a Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.
The police rushed to the spot and rushed two pilots to a nearby hospital.
