Muzaffarpur hospital blaze kills 3 patients, leaves 20 injured
In a major crackdown, police busted an illegal LPG racket in Hyderabad, arresting 10 individuals for stocking and selling gas cylinders at inflated prices. The operation was carried out by the Commissioner’s Task Force along with local police in the Banjara Hills area following specific inputs.
During the raid near Nagarjuna X Road, the accused were allegedly caught red-handed while dumping and selling cylinders through unauthorised channels. Officials seized a total of 414 LPG cylinders of various capacities along with multiple vehicles used for transportation. The total value of the seized property is estimated at around Rs 21.88 lakh.
Investigations revealed that the main आरोपी was running a gas agency and storing cylinders in open spaces, violating safety norms. Authorities said the group exploited high demand by diverting supplies and selling them on the black market with the help of delivery personnel and drivers.
Police have stated that strict action will be taken against those involved in illegal sale and black marketing of essential commodities, while further investigation into the network is underway.
