The Indian shooting contingent continues to shine at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou. The latest triumph came in the form of a bronze medal in the 25m rapid-fire pistol team men's event, courtesy of the stellar performance by the trio of Anish, Vijayveer Sidhu, and Adarsh Singh, on Monday.
With a combined score of 1718 points, they clinched the bronze, while China secured the gold with 1765 points, and South Korea took home the silver with 1734 points.
With these outstanding performances, India's medal count at the Asian Games 2023 now stands at ten medals, including one gold, three silver, and six bronze.
The shooting events will continue until October 1, featuring a total of 33 medal events across rifle, pistol, and shotgun categories.
Notable athletes like Olympian Manu Bhaker and former world champion Rudrankksh are among the stars of the 33-member Indian contingent, showcasing their prowess on the international stage.
