India beats Bangladesh by 7 wickets in first T20, chase down total in 11.5 overs
India advanced into the final of the 2024 Asian Champions Trophy with a 4-1 victory over South Korea. Captain Harmanpreet Singh led the charge, scoring two crucial goals from penalty corners, raising his total to seven in the tournament.
Uttam Singh opened the scoring in the 13th minute, setting the tone for India's dominance. Jarmanpreet Singh added a third goal in the 32nd minute, extending India’s lead. Although South Korea’s Yang Jihun managed to pull one back in the 33rd minute, it was only a momentary relief as Harmanpreet restored the three-goal advantage by the end of the third quarter.
In the final quarter, India maintained their control, neutralizing South Korea's attempts to retaliate. India will now face hosts China in the final on Tuesday, having already defeated them 3-0 in the league stage.
