Muzaffarpur hospital blaze kills 3 patients, leaves 20 injured
The INDIA bloc, an alliance of opposition parties, is set to hold a pivotal meeting at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's residence in Delhi on July 19. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav confirmed the upcoming deliberation, stating that opposition leaders are expected to meticulously plan key issues to be raised during the forthcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament, scheduled to commence from July 21.
Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut also affirmed his party's readiness for the meeting, indicating that July 19 was a suitable date. The gathering aims to forge a united front and finalize a common agenda for what is anticipated to be a stormy Monsoon Session, expected to witness intense confrontations between the ruling BJP and the Congress-led INDIA bloc.
The Monsoon Session of Parliament will have a total of 21 sittings until August 21, with a break for Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day celebrations from August 12 to August 18. Among the critical issues the opposition is expected to highlight are the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar ahead of state assembly polls, the Pahalgam terror attack, Operation Sindoor, US President Donald Trump's claims of mediation in India-Pakistan tensions, restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, rising atrocities against women, farmers' problems, unemployment, and the Ahmedabad air crash.
