In a clarification regarding the recent controversy surrounding the alleged 'boycott' of 14 journalists by the INDIA bloc, Congress leader Pawan Khera emphasized that it is a movement of non-cooperation rather than a boycott. He stated that this non-cooperation is not permanent, and if the journalists on the list come to realize that their actions are detrimental to India, INDIA leaders would once again participate in their shows. Khera made these comments ahead of the two-day Congress Working Committee meeting.
Khera clarified that there is no ban, boycott, or blacklist of journalists, but rather a decision not to cooperate with those spreading hatred in society. He affirmed that INDIA parties are not stopping these journalists from expressing their views but are choosing not to be complicit in promoting hatred.
Khera emphasized that these journalists are not considered enemies, and the decision is not permanent. If they change their approach for the betterment of India and society, cooperation can be resumed.
हम इन्हें नफ़रत की अभिव्यक्ति से रोकने की कोई ज़ोर ज़बरदस्ती तो कर नहीं रहे।

The 'boycott' list has drawn comparisons to the Emergency era by BJP leaders, who criticized the move.
