NIA searches Saokat Molla’s home and party office, son questioned in Bhangar blast case
Team India has reportedly decided to change both its hotel and dressing room arrangements ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 final in Ahmedabad. The decision comes as the team prepares to face New Zealand in the title clash scheduled for March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
According to reports, the Indian squad will not stay at the same hotel used during the 2023 ODI World Cup final, when the team suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Australia at the same venue. Instead, the team has shifted to a different hotel in Ahmedabad to begin preparations for the summit clash with a renewed mindset. In another notable change, the Indian team is also expected to use the visiting team’s dressing room at the stadium rather than the one previously assigned to them. The move is seen as an attempt to avoid repeating past routines associated with the earlier loss and to create a fresh environment ahead of the crucial match.
Despite India’s strong record at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the painful memories of the 2023 World Cup final continue to linger. By making subtle adjustments in accommodation and match-day arrangements, the team management hopes to approach the final with a fresh mindset and focus fully on the high-stakes encounter.
