India opts for new hotel and dressing room before T20 World Cup final vs New Zealand

Team India has reportedly decided to change both its hotel and dressing room arrangements ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 final in Ahmedabad. The decision comes as the team prepares to face New Zealand in the title clash scheduled for March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Instead, the team has shifted to a different hotel in Ahmedabad to begin preparations for the summit clash with a renewed mindset. In another notable change, the Indian team is also expected to use the visiting team’s dressing room at the stadium rather than the one previously assigned to them. The move is seen as an attempt to avoid repeating past routines associated with the earlier loss and to create a fresh environment ahead of the crucial match.
