IndiGo has unveiled its latest AI-powered chatbot, 6Eskai, designed to streamline ticket booking and provide quick responses to customer queries. Boasting an impressive 1.7 trillion parameters, the AI bot demonstrates the capability to address a diverse range of frequently asked questions effortlessly.

This move aims to enhance customer service efficiency by reducing the workload of human agents through the implementation of natural language conversations.

According to the airline, its data scientists extensively researched Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPT) and programmed the chatbot using prompt engineering techniques to emulate human behavior, respond to emotions, and even inject humor into interactions.

Preliminary results from the soft launch reveal a noteworthy 75 percent reduction in customer service agent workload, highlighting the bot's efficiency. Additionally, 6Eskai simplifies the booking process by guiding customers seamlessly through end-to-end journeys using natural language conversations.
