IndiGo is expected to operate over 2,050 flights on Saturday, marking the second consecutive day of stable operations after a week of widespread disruptions. The airline said this signals a steady return to normalisation across its domestic and international network.
In a statement, IndiGo highlighted that all 138 operational destinations are currently connected and on-time performance has remained within its usual standards. The airline said the revised schedule was implemented in line with government directives, with minimal cancellations reported over the last few days.
The carrier also addressed refunds and compensation for affected passengers, stating that most refunds have already been processed and remaining cases will reflect shortly. IndiGo added that it will reach out in January to passengers who were severely impacted, with compensation expected to exceed ₹500 crore.
Operational data shared by the airline showed a consistent improvement throughout the week, with flight numbers steadily increasing and cancellations remaining low. IndiGo said it expects to maintain the same level of operations as stability continues to return.
