Muzaffarpur hospital blaze kills 3 patients, leaves 20 injured
A seven-month-old infant was found dead in a water tank at a house in Baltoria Ward No. 66 in Barakar under Kulti police station of Asansol, triggering shock and grief in the locality. The child’s body was recovered from the tank inside the residence, and serious allegations have since surfaced within the family regarding the circumstances of the death.
Family members have accused the child’s maternal aunt by marriage — the wife of his uncle — of drowning him. The deceased infant was the grandson of Ismail Ansari, who lives in the house along with his wife Gulshan Ara, his son Shahnawaz Ansari’s wife Saniya Parveen, and other relatives. According to claims made by family members, the grandparents were deeply attached to the child, which allegedly led to tension in the household.
It has been alleged that in the early hours of the morning, while the baby was asleep, Saniya Parveen picked him up and drowned him in the water tank out of anger. Following the incident, accusations and counter-accusations have intensified within the family as authorities begin looking into the matter.
