Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday targeted the central government over the hike in prices of some other food items including vegetables. In this sequence, Kharge said that the people of the country will wipe out the Bharatiya Janata Party from power.

Vegetable prices are skyrocketing. The country's overall unemployment rate rose to 8.45 percent. The rural unemployment rate is 8.73 percent. Kharge claimed that the demand for MNREGA work is at its peak in villages but there is no work. It is said that the rural wage rate has decreased.
