IOB and Taaza TV partner to uplift 1000+ class 10th board toppers at Medha Samman 2024

In a noteworthy collaboration, Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) partnered with Taaza TV to honor and inspire the young academic stars of India at the prestigious Medha Samman 2024. Committed to supporting educational advancement, IOB played a significant role in this initiative, focusing on the empowerment of students through financial support and encouragement.

For 14 years, Taaza TV's Medha Samman initiative has been a pillar of inspiration, recognizing and celebrating the academic accomplishments of Class 10th and 12th board toppers. This event not only celebrates academic brilliance but also motivates young scholars to pursue excellence and contribute positively to society. Medha Samman encourages students to appreciate the guidance and support of their parents, teachers, and community, using their success as a stepping stone to give back to the nation.

This year's Medha Samman, held on July 14, 2024, at the National Library Auditorium in Kolkata, was a grand celebration of Class 10th board toppers. Indian Overseas Bank supported the event, empowering students and supporting their educational pursuits. Recognizing the financial hurdles that often impede academic progress, IOB ensured of extending financial aid through educational loans with favorable terms, making higher education more accessible.

The event was attended by IOB's Chief Regional Manager, Shri Vikram Khera, who had the honor of felicitating the students. Shri Khera encouraged the young achievers to continue their journey towards higher education, assuring them of IOB's unwavering support in the form of low-interest educational loans. This partnership enabled the honoring of over 1000 board toppers from more than 100 schools across Kolkata.
