Big tree falls at CR Avenue blocking traffic, roads waterlogged after heavy rain
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a strong warning against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, vowing to “pursue and kill” him while referring to the Israeli leader as a “child-killing criminal.” The statement came amid widespread speculation and unverified claims circulating online about Netanyahu’s alleged assassination.
In a statement, the IRGC said the uncertainty surrounding the Israeli prime minister’s whereabouts reflected what it described as a crisis within Israel. The group stated that the possibility of Netanyahu’s death or escape from the region indicated instability among the country’s leadership during the ongoing conflict.
“If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” the Guards said, issuing a direct threat against the Israeli leader. The remarks were made as tensions between Iran and Israel remain extremely high following the escalation of hostilities across the region.
The threat surfaced shortly after Netanyahu’s office dismissed rumours circulating on social media claiming that the Israeli prime minister had been assassinated. Officials clarified that the claims were false and stated that Netanyahu was safe and in good health.
Speculation had intensified online after a video shared from Netanyahu’s social media account appeared to show an unusual visual detail that some users interpreted as manipulation. The claims were later dismissed as misinformation, with explanations suggesting it was a visual illusion rather than an altered or AI-generated clip.
