Minor girl allegedly raped, found dead in Bengal; Violent protests erupt
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified efforts against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) by conducting raids on more than 40 locations in Karnataka and Maharashtra since Saturday morning. ISIS, renowned as one of the world's most feared terrorist organizations, still harbors active members, prompting the NIA to take proactive measures.
There are 44 places where NIA raids are going on since Saturday morning.Out of that, raids have been conducted at one place in Karnataka. At the same time, NIA officials have raided 2 places in Pune, 31 in Thane Rural, 9 in Thane City and one place in Bhayandar.
NIA is conducting a comprehensive investigation to foil the plans of the terrorist organization to spread terror and violence in India. Such raids have been conducted earlier also, in which many suspects have been arrested.
There is information about such IS modules being hidden especially in Maharashtra. Earlier too, such modules have been busted in Maharashtra. NIA is also gathering information as to whether any work has been done in these modules to seduce the youth and radicalize them.
Radical content has not reached them by downloading it from the internet. The investigating officers are also finding out whether youth have been recruited into the terrorist organization through the ISIS module. Terrorists want to recruit youth and carry out anti-India activities.
