Janhvi Kapoor to make south debut with Jr NTR in ‘NTR 30’

Actress Janhvi Kapoor, who was recently seen in the survival thriller Milli, is all set to make her big Telugu debut opposite Jr NTR in an upcoming yet-untitled project to be directed by Koratala Siva. Jr NTR meets Koratala Siva at NTR 30 after Janatha Garage.

The project is expected to be officially launched later this month and will be launched next month. A source from the film's unit confirmed that the makers have recently signed Janhvi Kapoor. He will soon join the team for a photo shoot with Jr NTR.

“It is true that Janhvi was signed. The makers had several options in mind, but eventually went ahead with Janhvi. In a few weeks, the team is planning a photo shoot with the leading couple. The project will be launched next month,” the source said. Ever since the project was officially announced, fans have taken over social media demanding updates on the film.

Recently Jr NTR asked fans to keep asking for updates as it is putting a lot of pressure on a lot of people. During the presale of his brother Kalyan Ram's Amigos, NTR asked his fans not to keep asking for updates. 

“Sometimes when we're working on a movie, we don't have a lot of information to share. We cannot share updates on a daily or hourly basis. As much as I understand your excitement and compulsion, sometimes it all adds up to a lot of pressure on both the producer and the filmmaker. Because of the pressure, we sometimes end up sharing an update that doesn't have much value, which upsets fans even more,” he said.

NTR further added that many actors face similar pressure, which is not healthy. “If there is an update, we will share it with the fans first, before we share it with our wife at home. It's just because we understand how important you all are. Only if there is an update worth sharing, we share it with all of you first,” he added.
