Amidst the ongoing political crisis in Bihar, JDU leader KC Tyagi launched a scathing attack on the Congress, claiming that the Opposition's I.N.D.I.A bloc is on the brink of disintegration due to the "irresponsible and obstinate attitude of Congress." Tyagi alleged that Congress had humiliated Nitish Kumar, a key architect of the 28-party alliance, and criticized the delay in seat-sharing agreements. Expressing deep concern over the current state of the grand alliance, Tyagi declared that the hopes with which it was initially formed have been shattered. He specifically pointed out the breakdown of the alliance in Punjab, Bihar, and Bengal.
In the midst of the political turmoil, Bihar is once again at the center of attention as speculations arise about Nitish Kumar's next move. The political corridors are rife with rumors suggesting his potential exit from the I.N.D.I.A bloc and a possible return to the NDA ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. While the BJP had previously closed its doors to Nitish Kumar after the alleged betrayal in 2022, senior BJP leader Sushil Modi hinted at a potential reconciliation, stating that no doors are permanently closed in politics and could be opened if necessary.
