Anil Kumar, a JDU leader and son of late Brahmadev Prasad, was fatally attacked in Parwalpur, Nalanda. The assault occurred while Anil was heading to the fields for a daily task. Allegedly, threats had been directed towards him after he served as a polling agent during the recent Lok Sabha elections.
As per investigation the JDU leader has been murdered with a sharp weapon. After getting information about the incident, the local police station sent the body to the Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
Anil was ambushed by a group of assailants armed with sharp weapons while he was in the fields. Police is suspecting land related disputes in this and investigating all the angles. JDU candidate Kaushalendra Kumar visited Sadar Hospital to offer condolences to Anil's family.
