Members of the Panchayat Secretariat Swayamsevak Sangh faced a lathi charge by the police outside the Legislative Assembly. The protesters, seeking redress for their demands, encountered resistance from the administration. Despite efforts to halt their progress, the demonstrators broke through barricades, prompting the police to employ a lathi charge to disperse the crowd.
During the confrontation, stone pelting on the police was reported, contributing to a chaotic situation near the Legislative Assembly. Several individuals sustained injuries as clashes unfolded between the police and protesters. To regain control, security forces utilized water cannons and tear gas shells, deploying a substantial number of personnel to manage the scuffles.
