Jharkhand: Factory worker found dead in rented accommodation

Jharkhand: Factory worker found dead in rented accommodation

A 31-year-old factory worker was found hanging in his rented accommodation in Guru Nanak Nagar in Jamalpur area.

The deceased was identified as Nandu, who hailed from Jharkhand. He was living in Ludhiana and working in a factory for the past few years. Investigating officer ASI Mukhtiyar Singh said Nandu was living with a woman in a rented house. On Sunday, when she entered the room, she found him hanging from the ceiling fan.

The police sent the body to a civil hospital for post-mortem. Police will wait for the autopsy report before taking any further action.
