Trump asks Apple CEO not to manufacture in India, says 'they can take care of themselves'
In a shocking development, Mohammad Naushad, a 35-year-old man from Bokaro, Jharkhand, has been arrested for celebrating the recent terrorist massacre in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on social media. Naushad took to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to thank Pakistan and the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba after 28 civilians, mostly tourists, were brutally killed in what is being called the deadliest attack in the valley since Pulwama.
Naushad posted in Urdu, “Thank you Pakistan, thank you Lashkar-e-Taiba, may Allah keep you happy forever. Amen, Amen. We will be happier if RSS, BJP, Bajrang Dal and media are targeted,” ending his message with smiley emojis. His posts immediately sparked outrage, with users tagging the Jharkhand Police and demanding urgent legal action.
According to authorities, Naushad is a madrasa-educated man who lives with his father in Makhdumpur, Bokaro. He reportedly operates multiple social media accounts using a SIM card issued in the name of his brother, who currently resides in Dubai. His digital history reveals a consistent pattern of provocative and extremist messaging, including inflammatory posts following previous attacks like Pulwama.
The gravity of his recent post prompted Bokaro SP Manoj Swargiari to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Inspector Naveen Kumar Singh, along with members from the technical cell. The team worked through the night and arrested Naushad early Wednesday morning. He is currently being interrogated, and a formal FIR is being prepared.
Authorities confirmed that this is not the first time complaints have been filed against Naushad. Despite previous warnings, he continued spreading venomous and communal content online. The police emphasized the need for stringent punishment to set an example for others who misuse social platforms to glorify terrorism and incite hatred.
