A major accident occurred in Jharkhand, where JMM Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji sustained injuries in a road accident. Reports confirm that she has suffered a fractured arm, while her son, daughter-in-law, and driver have also been seriously injured. The accident took place at around 4 AM near Maa Vaishnavi Fuels in Satbarwa, Latehar. All the injured were rushed to Orchid Hospital in Ranchi for medical treatment.
Mahua Maji was returning to Ranchi after taking a holy dip at the Mahakumbh when the accident happened. Her 42-year-old son, Sombit Maji, daughter-in-law Kriti Srivastava Maji, and driver Bhupendra were also inside the vehicle. According to reports, the driver dozed off due to exhaustion, causing the vehicle to collide with a stationary truck near Satbarwa in Latehar.
Upon receiving information about the accident, Latehar Police quickly responded and arranged an ambulance under the 108 emergency service to transport the injured to Sadar Hospital for first aid. Following initial treatment, they were referred to Ranchi for advanced medical care at Orchid Hospital.
Doctors at Orchid Hospital have confirmed that a CT scan of MP Mahua Maji’s chest is being conducted to assess internal injuries. Despite the severity of the collision, all the injured individuals are reportedly in stable condition. The impact of the crash was significant, causing severe damage to the front section of the vehicle.
