Kuldeep Kumar (20), a final year student of civil engineering at Gola Polytechnic College, Ramgarh, committed suicide by hanging in a rented house in Hermadza on Wednesday.
Kuldeep was a resident of Chatak village in Dulmi block. He lived in Hermadza in a rented room in Aklu Mahato's house. After receiving information about the incident, the Gola police took the dead body into custody and sent it to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The police recovered a suicide note from the deceased's room in which Kuldeep said that no one should be blamed. Meanwhile, relatives expressed the possibility of murder. Relatives said blood was oozing from Kuldeep's mouth. The door was also open.
Gole Police Station Superintendent Sidhant said that based on the allegations of the family members, the police have started an investigation into the matter. The cause of death can only be revealed after the post-mortem report comes out.
