The Littipara police arrested three individuals in connection with a gang rape case involving a minor. Within the span of 24 hours, a total of seven suspects were apprehended and sent to jail. Santosh Kumar, the in-charge of the Littipara police station, along with Satyadev Prasad and Saurabh Kumar, who are in-charge of the OP and Barhet police stations respectively, oversaw the operation.
David Soren and Rajalal Soren, residents of Chuchhi village in the Barhet police station area, were arrested by the police in a late-night raid. Additionally, Durga Murmu was apprehended by the police in the Sundarpahadi police station area. While one of the accused in the case remains at large, the police are conducting raids to identify and apprehend two other unidentified suspects.
Satyadev Prasad, the in-charge of the OP police station, confirmed that seven suspects have been arrested and sent to jail thus far. The police are actively searching for the remaining accused and will take them into custody as soon as possible.
