On Friday, a juice vendor in Ghaziabad was arrested for allegedly serving drinks contaminated with urine. The police acted on public complaints and discovered a plastic container filled with urine at the vendor's stall.
The situation unfolded when customers noticed the vendor, Aamir Khan, mixing a yellowish liquid into the juice. This led to a crowd gathering and attacking Khan. A 15-year-old boy working at the stall has also been detained in connection with the incident.
Upon investigation, police confirmed the presence of the urine-filled container at the stall. Khan could not provide a satisfactory explanation for its presence. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
This incident follows a recent similar case in Telangana, where an ice-cream vendor was arrested for tampering with his products, an event that also drew significant media attention.
