NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has sold her Pali Hill bungalow, which became a political issue due to structural violations, for ₹32 crore. The property, originally purchased in 2017 for ₹20 crore, earned Ranaut a profit of ₹12 crore.
The buyer, Shweta Bathija, is a partner at Kamalini Holdings based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The bungalow, located at Nargis Dutt Road, Pali Hill, housed Ranaut’s company, Manikarnika Films Pvt Ltd.
In 2020, the property made headlines when the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished parts of it, citing structural violations. Ranaut's lawyer, Rizwan Siddiqui, successfully moved the Bombay High Court to obtain a 24-hour stay on the demolition.
