'Jo Ram Ko Laye Hain' singer Kanhaiya Mittal to join Congress
Senior Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi resigned as the party's national spokesperson on Sunday. Tyagi cited "personal reasons" for his resignation in his letter to the party leadership, which is in power in Bihar under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Rajiv Ranjan Prasad will be replacing Tyagi as the new national spokesperson, party general secretary Afaq Ahmed Khan said.
Questions are being raised as to why KC Tyagi suddenly resigned. There is also a strong rumor that KC Tyagi was angry with the statement given by Bihar minister Ashok Chaudhary on Bhumihars. Finally, he left the post of national spokesperson of the party.
