Khalistan supporters hit PM Modi's Cutout with shoe outside Indian Consulate in Vancouver: Visuals surfaced

In Vancouver, outside the Indian Consulate, a significant protest was staged by dozens of Khalistan supporters, denouncing the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The demonstrators' actions unfolded amid Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's allegations, insinuating that the Indian government was involved in Nijjar's death.

The protesters exhibited their dissent by waving Khalistan flags, playing music, and fervently chanting slogans. In a provocative act, some individuals set fire to India's flag, disposing of it in a garbage can outside the Indian Consulate. Similar protests were also held in Toronto.

The demonstrators characterized Hardeep Singh Nijjar's demise as an "assassination" and demanded a public inquiry into the case, as reported by Canada-based CTV News. These protests were part of a broader series of demonstrations orchestrated by Khalistan supporters across multiple cities in Canada.

The World Sikh Organization issued a warning about the potential for "incitement and interference" and called for vigilance, as detailed by CTV News. In a statement, Tejinder Singh Sidhu, the president of the World Sikh Organization, emphasized the need to identify the perpetrators behind Hardeep Singh Nijjar's killing. He further said, "If members of the community feel unsafe or see attempts to incite violence, we encourage them to immediately contact law enforcement," CTV News reported.

In anticipation of the planned protest by Khalistan supporters, the Vancouver Police Department took measures by closing off the vicinity around the Indian Consulate. Roadblocks were erected to restrict access to the Indian Consulate's building on Howe Street, as reported by CTV News.
