Seven international flights operating to and from Kolkata Airport were cancelled between 0000 hrs and 1200 hrs on March 6 due to disruptions linked to the ongoing Iran–Israel–US conflict. The affected services were operated by Air Arabia, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways and Emirates, connecting Kolkata with key Middle Eastern destinations including Abu Dhabi, Doha and Dubai.
Airport records show that both inbound and outbound flights on these routes were cancelled during the six-hour period. The impacted services include Air Arabia flight 3L-0167 between Kolkata and Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways flights EY-0220 and EY-0221 operating between Abu Dhabi and Kolkata, Qatar Airways flights QR-0540 and QR-0541 between Doha and Kolkata, and Emirates flights EK-0570 and EK-0571 connecting Dubai and Kolkata.
The cancellations affected travel on major Middle East corridors frequently used by passengers flying between India and the Gulf region. Airport authorities recorded the disruptions as cancellations linked to the impact of the ongoing geopolitical conflict, with no additional operational remarks listed during the reporting period.
