Trump asks Apple CEO not to manufacture in India, says 'they can take care of themselves'
Following recent developments between India and Pakistan, security measures have been intensified at Kolkata International Airport in accordance with directives issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Airport authorities have restricted parking near entry gates, and cars are no longer allowed to stop at terminal entrances. Officials confirmed that vigilance has been increased in both the arrival and departure areas. Passengers are required to follow all travel-related instructions strictly.
Sources at the airport stated that the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has cancelled all leaves for its personnel deployed at the airport. Personnel who had already taken leave have been asked to return to duty immediately. The move is part of enhanced airport security measures, with the force maintaining round-the-clock deployment to monitor passenger movement and secure key airport zones.
As per the updated guidelines, all passengers will now go through an additional layer of security screening just before boarding. Airlines have advised flyers to report at least three hours before their scheduled departure to avoid delays. Passengers have also been asked to comply fully with all instructions issued by the airlines and airport security personnel during check-in and boarding procedures.
