Kolkata is expected to experience partly cloudy and unsettled conditions over the next couple of days, with a possibility of rain in the afternoon.
According to weather reports, the temperature in the city is expected to range between 29 and 36 degrees Celsius, with tomorrow likely to see a high of around 35 degrees. The temperature is expected to drop by a degree or two following the rain and then rise again.
Although there is no official status for a summer web, Kolkata has received 30% less rainfall than usual. The unsettled conditions may bring some relief to the city which has been experiencing high temperatures in recent weeks.
However, the possibility of rain in the afternoon may cause some inconvenience to those who have outdoor activities planned. It is advisable to carry an umbrella or raincoat if heading out during this period.
