A laborer named Dilip Singh died after falling from a multi-storey flat under construction in New Town Double AA Block on Sunday morning. Dilip Singh, a resident of Bihar, was working on the roof of a five-storey building when he suddenly fell. Fellow workers rushed him to Bidhannagar Sub-Divisional Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Upon receiving the information, police from New Town police station arrived at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall. According to local and police sources, the incident occurred while construction of the roof was in progress.
