Laketown police successfully thwarted a major robbery attempt on Sunday night by arresting three individuals armed with sharp weapons. The incident unfolded after locals reported suspicious activities by several outsiders in the area. Acting on the tip-off, police conducted a raid on the banks of Patipukur Lake in Laketown, where they apprehended the suspects and recovered two lock-breaking tools and other sharp weapons. The arrested individuals are residents of the Baguihati area.
Currently, the Laketown police are interrogating the suspects to determine the intended location and details of the planned robbery. TAuthorities are continuing their investigation to ensure the safety and security of the area.
