Lalbazar seeks immediate cancellation of passports obtained with fake birth certificates

The Regional Passport Office has received an urgent letter from Lalbazar Police Headquarters, requesting the immediate cancellation of passports that were procured using fraudulent birth certificates. This significant development comes as police sources reveal that approximately 3,500 fake birth certificates have been issued from the Pathankhali Gram Panchayat in the Gosaba area of South 24 Parganas district.
