RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has launched a verbal attack on Union Home Minister Amit Shah, attributing responsibility for Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to him. This statement comes in response to Shah's remarks in Parliament, where he held the country's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, responsible for the creation of PoK. Lalu Yadav, dismissing Shah's understanding of the issue, stated that the Home Minister lacks information about PoK and asserted that Shah is accountable for the ongoing attacks in the region.
In addition to holding Amit Shah responsible for PoK, Lalu Yadav predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would not secure a single seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He expressed confidence in the INDIA alliance's victory in the upcoming elections and disclosed that the alliance's next meeting is scheduled for December 17 and 18.
Lalu Yadav's comments add fuel to the political discourse surrounding Shah's assertion about Nehru's role in the creation of PoK during the discussion on the Jammu Kashmir Reservation Bill and Jammu Kashmir Reorganization Bill.
