The Chief Minister, along with prominent personalities from the entertainment industry, attended the prestigious Tele Awards program at the Dhandhanya Stadium. The event was a celebration of talent and creativity, bringing together renowned faces from television and cinema. Former mayor Sovan Chatterjee and Baisakhi Banerjee were also in attendance.
Singer and politician Babul Supriyo made an entrance to the Tele Awards, although his late arrival caused a stir. Notably, he was not invited on stage due to his tardiness and ended up sitting with the audience. However, his eventful evening didn't stop there. Earlier in the day, Supriyo's late arrival at the Assembly session drew the Speaker's attention, resulting in a reprimand in front of fellow members. The Speaker issued a final warning to ensure better punctuality in the future.
