Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made a strong statement during her administrative meeting at Jhargram Stadium, highlighting the importance of peace and progress in the Jangalmahal region. Addressing residents, she remarked, "Blood has been shed in this forest before. I have roamed here. Now there is no bloodshed in Jangalmahal. There should be no bleeding in the coming days." Currently CM is on a three-day visit to Jhargram.
During her address, the Chief Minister assured residents, stating, "As long as we are here, you will receive the money from Lakshimi Bhander." She further elaborated, "Thousands of rupees will be available at Lakshmi's store from April. If the center withholds housing funds after 100 days of residence, the state will take necessary action starting May."
Additionally, responding to potential Aadhaar Card cancellations, she affirmed, "If Aadhaar Cards are cancelled, we will provide a separate card. No more fighting, a lot of blood has been spilled."
A day earlier, CM Banerjee said that it would be good if the Center could provide the money, but if not, her government would pay for various central projects in the state. On the stage of Purulia's administrative meeting, he said to the chief minister on Tuesday, "Bangla wants money from Haq. Bengali is not a beggar. No one has to beg.''
