Madan gives Mamata 1 month deadline to leave Abhishek and join "real Trinamool"

Trinamool Congress MLA Madan Mitra on Monday targeted Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee while addressing the Martyrs' Day rally held by the "real" Trinamool faction at Mayo Road. Addressing the gathering, he said, "Leave Abhishek; I am giving you one month," and urged Mamata Banerjee to join the faction. He also said, "Admit that you were blinded by affection for your son," and claimed she would be welcomed if she decided to join them.

According to the information provided, Madan Mitra recently left Mamata Banerjee's faction and joined Ritabrata Banerjee's camp after meeting him and his associates at the Assembly. He had earlier alleged that the party was splitting because of Abhishek Banerjee and repeated his criticism of both leaders during Monday's rally.
