Madan Mitra, Trinamool MLA from Kamarhati, faced another medical setback as he experienced a stroke on Thursday night, raising ongoing concerns about his physical condition. Following a previous unconscious episode due to seizures, Madan Mitra underwent surgery for a broken left shoulder bone. Presently under treatment at SSKM's Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU), his condition was deemed stable after the recent episode.
Sources from SSKM reported that following a shoulder surgery on Wednesday, Madan Mitra complained of pain at the surgical site in the evening. Subsequently, he experienced prolonged tremors at night. Immediate medical attention was provided to mitigate the symptoms. Presently, Madan Mitra's condition remains stable, but due to post-surgical complications, there's intensified monitoring of the Kamarhati MLA's health.
