Madhya Pradesh: Girl rescued three days after falling into borewell dies

The cause of death was determined to be suffocation, and post-mortem revealed that her body was already in a decomposed state when she was rescued

In a heartbreaking incident, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl named Srishti fell into a 300-feet deep borewell while playing in a field in Mungaoli village, Madhya Pradesh.

Despite a 55-hour-long rescue operation involving the NDRF, local authorities, and robotic teams, the little girl was pulled out lifeless.

The cause of death was determined to be suffocation, and post-mortem revealed that her body was already in a decomposed state when she was rescued.
