Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has contributed ₹11 crore to the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The announcement was made by state industries minister Uday Samant, who is currently visiting the holy city.

Shinde's son, MP Shrikant Shinde, and others accompanied Samant to Ayodhya, where they handed over a cheque of ₹11 crore to the Ram temple trust. Expressing gratitude, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai thanked the Maharashtra CM for the generous donation.
