Mahua Moitra moves Delhi HC against eviction order

Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra has once again approached the Delhi High Court challenging the Directorate of Estate's notice instructing her to vacate the government bungalow in the national capital. The case, concerning her expulsion from the Lok Sabha last year, is listed before Justice Girish Kathpaliya.

The Directorate of Estates issued the eviction notice to Moitra as she is no longer a Member of Parliament, and the house was allotted to her during her tenure as an MP. The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry recently sent another notice to expedite the eviction process.
