Malayalam actress Lena reveals marriage to Gaganyaan astronaut Prasanth Nair

Malayalam actress Lena has disclosed her marriage to Gaganyaan pilot Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair, marking her second marriage. Lena confirmed the union, which took place on January 17, 2024, just hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the names of the four Indian Air Force pilots selected for India's inaugural human space travel program, Gaganyaan. Taking to Instagram, Lena shared a video alongside Prasanth, expressing her joy at the historic moment and her marriage, which had been kept under wraps to maintain legally mandated anonymity.

The revelation comes amid PM Modi's review of the Gaganyaan mission's progress during his visit to Kerala, where he conferred 'astronaut wings' upon the four astronaut-designates, including Captain Prasanth Nair. Alongside Prasanth, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, Group Captain Angad Pratap, and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla have been chosen for training at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Russia, as part of India's ambitious human space flight program.
