Mamata Banerjee heads to Delhi for India alliance meeting and parliamentary discussions

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee embarked on a three-day visit to Delhi, where she is scheduled to participate in the India Alliance meeting on the 18th and 19th. Prior to her departure from the airport, Banerjee addressed the media, outlining her agenda for the visit.

She mentioned plans to meet with Members of Parliament on Monday, emphasizing her intention to discuss issues such as the agitation over MNREGA dues, asserting that despite efforts, no benefits were obtained from the Center.

Additionally, Banerjee expressed concern about the recent security lapse in Parliament, distancing Bengal from any connection to the incident. She labeled the attempt to link the state to the attack as a conspiracy aimed at tarnishing Bengal's reputation.
