Mamata Banerjee pays tribute to media titan Ramoji Rao

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed profound sorrow over the demise of media magnate Ramoji Rao, the visionary behind the Eenadu Group and Ramoji Film City. Rao, aged 88, breathed his last in Hyderabad this morning.

Banerjee conveyed her heartfelt condolences to Rao's family, friends, and the multitude of admirers who revered him. She fondly recalled her interactions with Rao and reminisced about her visit to the Ramoji Rao studio, an experience she cherished deeply.

"Saddened to know about the demise of media leader Ramoji Rao," Banerjee expressed on social media. "Founder head of the Eenadu group, ETV network, and a large film city, he was a torchbearer of specifically Telugu and generally the entire regional cultural-communication world."

Banerjee's heartfelt tribute reflects the deep respect Rao commanded not just in the media industry but also in cultural circles. His legacy as a pioneer in regional media and entertainment will be remembered for years to come.
