BJP has only 2-3 years left to survive. Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee made this claim during a party meeting at Netaji Indoor Stadium. On Thursday, during the meeting, she said, "What they did in Maharashtra and Delhi, they won’t be able to do in Bengal. I challenge them."
Mamata said, "They have the power of money. They have the power of agencies. I used to respect the Election Commission a lot. I still do. I will continue to do so as long as it remains an institution worthy of respect. But do you know who was recently appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner? You should know. The Honorable Secretary of the Honorable Home Minister’s office has been made the Chief Election Commissioner. This has all been orchestrated by BJP people. As long as the Election Commission is not impartial, its reputation will continue to be tarnished. We claim abroad that we are one of the world’s largest democracies. But is that really true?"
Immediately after this, Mamata challenged the BJP, saying, "How were they defeated in Maharashtra? They couldn’t capture it. How were they defeated in Delhi? They couldn’t capture it. Now they have started the same thing in Bengal. We will give them an answer in Bengal, and a fitting one. This is a challenge."
She further asserted, "BJP’s rule will end between 2027-29. They will do whatever they can in the next 2-3 years. After that, they will have no existence left. They targeted Bengal because no one else could fight back. But Bengal can fight."
