West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today announced that she will be sitting on a two-day dharna on March 29 and 30 to protest against the "dictatorial attitude" of the central government.
The dharna will be held near the Ambedkar statue in Kolkata, and it will be spread at the block level.
Regarding the issue of deprivation of funds from the Centre, Mamata Banerjee criticized the central government for not providing any funds to West Bengal. She said that despite repeated requests, the state has not received any money from the Centre, and the road money has not been released yet.
The Chief Minister also alleged that some agency heads have become BJP's local leaders, and this cannot continue.
